Mike is an experienced senior financial professional with over 30 years of experience in operations and finance. Having worked extensively across Asia, Australia, Europe, and America, he has held senior financial and management roles in several global organizations. Mike is a CA, with a Bachelor of Accounting and Psychology from Monash University. Before joining Gamma Capital Advisory as Director, Mike was Managing Director at FTI Consulting after many years as a Partner with PwC. His expertise spans a wide range of industries including manufacturing, logistics, retail, construction, professional services, automotive, airlines, healthcare, financial services, and real estate.

Mike has held senior interim financial and operational roles in addition to acting as an advisor to senior management and boards around restructuring, M&A and capital-raising activities.

Mike has recently:

• Successfully negotiated the sale of an Australian Listed Company that owned and operated satellites in low-orbit.
• Served as the Interim Chief Transformation Officer at a global packaging solution provider with operations throughout Asia/Pacific and the USA.
• Steered Speedcast International Limited, a global provider of remote communications and IT services, through a restructuring and eventual sale of the business to Private Equity interests through a Chapter 11 process.
• Served as Interim Chair of an ASX listed company in the beauty products industry, assisting the company in transforming their operations and the eventual sale of the business.

Throughout his career in corporate advisory, Mike has advised numerous owners on a range of matters. From restructuring troubled companies to establishing startups from scratch, Mike specializes in understanding business problems quickly and has an arsenal of tailored solutions to meet a variety of opportunities and challenges. Mike has held several board positions over the years in both the for-profit and for-purpose spheres and is currently a Director of Engineers without Borders.
